2005 Wranglers

So I sold my 2000 Wrangler for a 2004 Mustang Gt.. ending up puttin that into some tree's cuz i swirved to miss a family of deer.. Its now totalled.. I am lookin at a Impact Orange 2005 Wrangler X... It has a 4wdh 4inch lift.. 33x12.5x15 daytona timberline mt's.. auto.. 4.0l .. softtop with half doors.. It has smittybilt front and rear bumpers.. and rocker gaurd.. Anyone have issues with the 2005 Wranglers? and is their anything i should look for when i go check it out later today after i get off of work? .. and im almost back into the Jeep community... ! still had a problem with wavin at every wrangler passing when i had my mustang and they'ed look at me funny.. .. Thanks.

Chris

get one with a D44. period. You can add that other crap much easier than a new rear axle.

If you insist though, i don't think there is a problem...i'd test drive it and make sure there are no vibrations.

I'd really look at one with a D44 though...plus, they come with 3.73's...the X probably has 3.07's (suck)

Sorry about the Stang... the Jeep Gods are giving you another chance.

Definately look for the D44. If equipped it will save you tons in the long run.
