2006 Golden Eagle pricing

A fairly local dealer has a 2006 Golden Eagle, 49k mileage...looks good in the pics, center console matches, it has the right seats and badges, still need to check the rear axle(from what I read these came with the dana 44).

Any thoughts on a reasonable price? Its listed at 14k, but dont expect to pay that. Any ideas where you think a comfortable number to get to would be?

Even 98 Cherokee's go for a premium here in MD, they were on my list for the utility and more family friendly space...but I cant get the idea of a TJ out of my head!

Same price as a 2006 TJ without the stickers and with the same options...

4jeepn...I read on a few sites that the 44 in the rear came standard on the golden eagle. Is that incorrect? Everything else seemed similar...awesome gold rims though! Can't forget those!

Sounds like it may not be a bad deal than if I can get a few bucks off. The situation I am in now is price limbo between paying cash and paying more than I should and financing. Thanks for the help.

How do you like the unlimited? It has an extra 10 inches correct?

LJs are 15" longer overall, 13" behind the rear seat and 2" of additional legroom for the rear passengers. I love mine, but you probably won't find one in good shape in the same price range as that Golden Eagle (which I happen to think look pretty cool!)

Gotcha'...

I am not a fan of the four door, I was on the fence with the two door unlimited, but I saw one yesterday and that extra storage room is very appealing. The price however...not so much.

It looks like I would be an extra 4-5k more if I get into an unlimited. I am finding 2006, two door unlimited for17-19k with 50-60k mileage around here. Not to bad I guess, but 14k is easier on the wallet!

This is going to be my primary vehicle, so theres a lot to consider. Thanks again!

14 Sounds very Reasonable to me if it is a NICE AND CLEAN Jeep. Here in Texas I would probably have to pay at least that Wholesale.

I may try to get a look at it in the next day or so, pictures are good, not as clean looking in the photos as the 97 Sahara or the 2006 unlimited I saw though.

I really like that 97 with the hardtop, looks sweet, but its 15 years old....thats a tough one to pull the trigger on. I just keep thinking I will be buying parts left and right. It only has 50k mikes on it though.

If you can at all afford to really get the LJ. The extra space Nd extra length makes a great difference.

Thanks again for all the opinions. It may be worth the extra money.

We have two boys at home, 6, and 4, so that 13" may be a huge difference!

I have a Golden Eagle and I don't see any difference on the instrument panel.
Certainly not marked.
I do have the decals and the Dana 44, plus 3.73.
I am thinking of selling to try a different route and my price would start around $14.5.
