Just bought new AT tires for the jeep. They run great. Checked my mileage and I'm getting right under 13 mpg. I believe everything else is stock. Is this typical? I don't expect great mileage but was hoping I'd be a least getting 15....
10-11 on mud tires, same size. is there anything i can do to improve it a little? I bought it used, and love it, but am wondering why everyone else is getting better...?
My 01 with a 3speed averages about 14. We did an overall trip average of 18 on our recent trip to Co. I think I could have done better if not for those spirited runs.
'06 X 6 speed. Usually get between 16 and 18, but just got 20 on the highway heading down to NC this past weekend. Everything's stock except for my 31" Fierce Attitude M/T tires and Granite Alloy Wheels.
What colors yours? Mines silver. Don't ya know silver ones get the best mileage
Here is what I get, hwy right at 60mph 17~19mpg, shifting easy right at 2000 rpm. If I shift above 2000rpm the mileage drops like crazy. City goes down to 15~17mpg. If I tow something (usually a dirt bike) gets 13~15mpg.
06 4.0L with six speed and 31's.
31s on my 06 rubi I did the computer reset thing listed on the quadratec website and WOW way way way better MPGs crisp acceleration and my check engine light is on with a 02 sensor fault due to a giant hole in my muffler I fill up with 89 octane and get 220+ miles on a tank (all city driving) but get 150-170 miles on 87 octane my jeep likes the good stuff Lol
It's an auto... I removed the + batt cable n touched the - batt terminal for 30 sec, turned on the ignition, turn on my headlights, turn off headlights, close ignition, connect + batt cable and your done.
