2nd power outlet not working..

Hello everyone. I've done a search but can't find an answer, just a bunch of questions about adding a 2nd outlet.

I have an 05, and next to my main 12v outlet, I have a 2nd one that is only on when the Jeep is powered, directly next to the main one. Now dumb me ran an inverter and overloaded it, and now the outlet isn't working. Is there an inline fuse directly behind it I may have blown? Or would it be one of the fuses in the glovebox, or in one of the other spots? I could sure use that outlet...

Start with checking all the fuses behind the glovebox...if all are good, you've probably got an inline in that circuit somewhere. Check the easy ones before you remove part of your dash to find there's no inline fuse.

For '05, the fuse for the power outlet is #17 in the PDC (box in front of the battery). No in line fuse.

Whoops...totally forgot about the fuse box under the hood. Confused it with our work truck...which only has the large main fuses under the hood (rest are in the dash).

Does this one only control the primary outlet? Or does it control both.

Only the power outlet The other one (lighter) uses the #18 fuse in the block behind the glove box. Lighter hot only with key on. P.O. always hot (B+)

Got it straight with that #18 fuse. It was completely massacred on the inside. Switched it with the spare. Thanks! Love the jeep community, always helping out
