That's what I have and it does just fine. The only problems that I may have are with exceptionally strong headwinds. It's not perfectly ideal but I'm not gonna spend the money on regearing the 35. I'm still looking for a bolt in Dana 44

I have an '01 I6 D35 w/3.07, 31" tires, and 32rh.
Personally, I think you should regear both axles to 4.10 if you step up to 33" tires with the 32rh.
.... or regear the front D30 and swap in a TJ D44 with 4.10... which is my plan.

It seems the 3.07 works better with the 32rh than the 5spd. But I decided on 31s with a 2in lift. If I'm going bigger, I want different gears, different axles.

However, I'm happy with how she is on the highway.
