RC 3.25" is $380 on their website. Comes with everything you need TC drop rear trac bar relocation bracket, shocks, coils, 3/4" spacers, and front and rear sway bar links. It just doesn't come with extended bump stops which you will need if you go over 31" tires.

bumpstop extensions have a lot less to do with tires than they do shocks. You will absolutely need bumpstop extensions with the RC lift, regardless of tire size, in order to prevent the shocks from bottoming out.

the next questions to ask yourself - when you're reading reviews and people say they have "no problems"...would they actually know if they had a problem?

Hmm.. Well then, I am looking for a 3 inch lift for my next Jeep, what would you recommend? I would rather have it all suspension and no body lift. I'm only planning to run 31's, i know i could go smaller but incase I want to to back to 33's i can easily. something around 500

I only say this because my stock bump stops with this lift shocks and all are fine without hitting or damage but if I got bigger tires then when in full flex they would hit inside of the wheel well.

Savvy, AEV, OME, BDS or Rancho. RC's springs are fine if your jeep isn't heavy, and most seem to use different shocks & other components. RC springs are good for those doing front shock mount relocation to use long travel shocks, since the progressive rate springs have a long uncompressed length, but Savvy, AEV and OME springs do as well. Any kit you go with will require adjusting the bumpstops.

Like I said, tire size is a secondary part - SHOCK LENGTH is the first priority.

During install you should check full bump and shock clearances, so post pictures of both the front and rear axle at full bump, with the shocks connected, and springs removed.

They stick out 2" past my stock flares which are 3.75" out from the body. The 6" Pockets should be pretty even with em.

I think I might have to copy you on that! I really like that look. I plan on getting some pocket flares and have a fleeing that they might be 'inside the fender flare which would look goofy what would you say on 4.5 backspacing( with 31's)?

Any BS between 3.75"-4.5" will work fine. 4.5" BS will stick out .50" less than the 4" though.

Thats right! ha oops and the cragars I want don't come in 3.75 I guess 4 will have to work and I'll just have to hope they don't stick in the fender flare.

One more question, not sure if you said early, but how long have you had your RC lift/how has it held up?

I've had it for 1 1/2 years and it's been fine. When I first got it they had a bad batch of their 2.2 shocks which I warrantied and it's been fine since. I think their customer service is great and if you have any issues they will make sure and take care of it.

3.25 rc

Just installed the 3.25 RC this weekend. The ride seems good....maybe even better than stock, but will not judge until I get it alingment done. I also am having an issue with it popping out of 2nd gear (noticed one of the earlier post mentioned this). Is this fix as simple as moving console back a bit? Figured I had something more serious facing me. I'm new to having a lift, but it does seem a bit top heavy and not handling great, but hoping the alignment helps the steering feeling. Getting either 31's or 32's and new wheels on this week. Will post a pic when it is complete.

Here is my 3 1/4'' RC with 1 1/4'' BL. I used a piece of 1x2 sq tubing for TC drop and I also purchased longer SS fr brake lines especially since i disco my front sway bar. Its sitting on 33's with stock rim with 1 1/2'' wheel spacers from RC. No tire rubbing now.

This my DD I removed the rear sway completely and used the rear track bar bracket that came with kit. One thing that i didn't order with the kit was a drop pitman arm, but I building a high steer for it.

It changed the ride of my jeep for the good. Good Luck

I've had my lift for awhile now and I've got new tires still 31's and am very satisfied with the performance. Its a good lift and tire combo for my little 4 cyl engine. I've been able to get where i want with ease and also some places i thought i couldn't get to. I won't go to 33s even tho I'd like to because like i said i am satisfied with this setup. Thanks for commenting in this feed everyone

This is my 04 TJ pics from stock, to a newly installed RC 3.25in lift. I used the spacers in the rear as well. It didnt look right without the 3/4 in spacers, looked like the back was sagging a bit. But I have BF Goodrich 31 x 10.5 T/A's and stock 8x15 in wheels. I like the look, but any taller I would go with a 32 or 33.
