3" Coils

So I have made a decision that I will get rid of my 2" BB and upgrade to 3" coil springs. I already have shocks so all I will need at this time is the coils with nothing else. I will look at track bars and such later if needed. What brand do I purchase? I see a big variance in price. I am leaning towards Rusty's coils as I have had good stuff from him in the past and the price is right. I do not need the control arms and such so I do not need a kit. I am wanting to keep the ride as close to stock as possible. Right now I have a 1" BL and run 31s, but I will be going to 33s when the tires are worn. I do not have a winch and right now have no plans for one. I will be making my own front and rear bumpers though in the near future. Oh yea most of my off roading will be in Moab.

Definately gonna want a T-case drop and you will need to do something with your rear trac bar. At 3" a rear trac bar drop bracket for $18 from rough country will work fine. As for coils I think any brand of coils will work just fine but if you like rustys go with rustys.

Already have a T case drop if it is needed. I got it for my 2" BB, but did not need it so I took it off. Never had Rusty's coils, just other stuff. I just want to keep the ride as close to stock as possible and need some input.

So it looks like the only companies that sell 3" springs not in a lift kit are:
AEV
BDS
Rubicon Express
Rustys
Teraflex

I wonder which would ride the best?

Rubicon Express 3.5" springs are more like 4.5" - FYI

AEV's are great but expensive, and not a smart route if you plan on going with a bigger lift later
BDS is good.
Rubicon Express is currently out of business or on hold, or whatever. besides their stuff is too tall anyway.
Rusty's is ok, but their springs aren't any longer than stock...they're just thicker so the rate is much higher.
Teraflex has a pretty soft spring rate.

Does this really work? All you have to do is buy the coils and then buy some shocks to match? (I know if you planned on going any larger than 3" you'd have to get a SYE) So for a 3" all you have to do is get the springs and shocks?

Your gonna need an adjustable front trac bar or your front end wil be off centered, sway bars links may rub your frame like that.
