31x10.5 stock, spacers needed ?

The Jeep needs tires badly. '03 X. I've search and I see some results say no spacers needed on a Stock Sport.

I'm looking at some Firestone Destinations 31x10xr15 I'm fairy certain I have 15X7.0 "Ecco" Wheels. Other than possibly having to add a few washers to the steering stops do I need to run any spacers ?

Eventually I planning on a 2-2.5" lift to give the 31's a little more clearance.

thanks in advance

Nope, add the washers so you don't run at full lock, you'll be fine.

You dont need spacers. I have 31x10.5x15 super swampers on crager soft 8s and there is no rubbing. If you have stock rims you may encounter slight rub when you crank the wheel all the way.

31s will fit stock. a 1" BL is a good addition if you like.

Cragar soft 8s won't rub bc the backspace. Ecco wheels are around a 5.5 backspace like the canyons/ravines so they "may" rub at full lock

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I may have found an awesome deal on a set of (5) 31's. Just wanted to be certain I wouldn't run into any weird problems.

Nope, no spacers needed, I have 31x10.5 r15 on craiger soft 8's, no rubbing, but if you like to go wheeling then I'd recommend a 1.5-2 inch spacer to get that extra clearance, but I haven't had any issues with them
