32x11.5s with a 1 inch body lift?

hey I'm new to jeeps just bought an 05 wrangler with the inline 6. love it. I know i can hit 31's stock if I put hockey pucks in (1 inch) so a 1 inch body lift. can i fit 32's with out rubbing on the control arm or fender? i was told there is an adjuster to keep your wheel from the control arm. how many body mounts are there on a 05 jeep?

Hockey pucks canada.. good one.. anyway.. you can fit 31's on a stock TJ. It will rub a bit but its can happen.. As for 32's A 2" coil spacer will work for ya. Again, might rub a bit depending on your rims etc. If ya feel ya still need some more room then either save up for taller lift or add a 1" non hockey puck body lift.

if your running stock rims with 32's they will rub, u need a rim with at least 3-4" backspacing for them not to rub. or get wheel spacers for your stock rims. i just installed a 2"body on top of my 2"RE spacer lift. running 32's and i love it. there's 11 mounts in all 2 in rear, 2 deep above the gas tank, 3 on each side under the rocker panels, 2 extensions under the front grill and one dead center under the radiator. make sure if you do buy a body lift it includes the steering link riser, some kits dont come with it. i bought my body lift from Zone Offroad and couldnt be happier. check em out.

see I would love to just drop a 4 inch suspension lift in it and run 33's but I just payed my tuition and am pretty much broke hence the hockey pucks (it does work however) but if I were to do a 2 inch coil spring spacer and a 1 inch body will I still need to space my stock rims ? If so how much?

If your tires rub go to homo depot and get some 10mm washers for about a dollar and shim your stearing stops. Search this forum i know there are instructions here some where.

No sooner did I get my brand new TJ home in '03 I ditched the little girl tires that came on my SPORT.

From 4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers I bought a set of 15 X 8 black steel rims.
The only steel rims 4WPW carried in '03 for my TJ.

I mounted up a set of GOODYEAR MT/R's 32X11.50X15's.

Without any lift they DO NOT RUB except under severe frame twist & then just a little in the back, but, no tire damage or TJ damage has ever been the result.

I had always intended on putting a 2" kit under my TJ, but as it turned out....
I don't need it .

6 years driving it as is...on & offroad.
I'm guessin' I'll never put the lift in.
