33 /13.5 /15 Nitto Mud Grapplers

I have 295/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers on ion alloy wheels. One of my buddies wants to trade me for 33/13.5/15 Mud Grapplers on Black Crager bullet hole wheels. I need some advice on whether I should trade or not. If that wide tire will hurt gas mileage a lot and how it will be offroading. If anybody could give some advice I would really appreciate it. Thanks I need to know quick also!

Can't say as to off road performance or an ride quality as I've never had them but you can bet on two thing. 1) They will be LOUD. 2) You won't be able to keep you jeep clean. At all. They will sling dirt, rocks, mud, muddy water, and water else they can find all over you Jeep. It's all personal preference though.

EDIT: plus I like the ions better. ( I'm biased because I have those )

You'll get sick of the noise.Or invest in huge speakers and amps.No conversation in jeep over 35mphr.Ohh they wear out faster too

It's not that loud, people over exaggerate when they say you can't have a conversation. The roar sounds good to me and has turned people's heads. Already have gotten tons of compliments

That side picture above showing your stinger and the tree in the background are cracking me up! It looks like you have a 20ft stinger.

No worries on the noise. I love MTs and enjoy the noise. Part of the experience I go for.

I don't think it's over exaggerated at all. I had 33x12.50 MTs on my truck a few years ago and after they were ~50% worn you literally had to yell to talk if you were going faster than 45.
