Thumbs up 33 engineering skid plate

Im thinking about getting the 33 engineering tcase skid plate. I dont know anyone locally that has it and I wanted to know what your experience and opinion of it is.

thanks. looks like you have some awesome wheeling spots around there

did you opt for the aluminum skid or did you stay with the steel one?

and what supension setup do you have and did you need a sye or anything extra when you put the skid in?

did the 3" lift first... I don't have a SYE - I have an aftermarket transfer case
....then later a 1" body, motor mount and steel skid (Frank had to use the one inch spacer because of the t-case)

I guess ill be go to go then. I have a 2"suspension, 1.25"BL and a 1"MML.

1"spacer? like a t-case skid plate drop?

what t-case do you have?

So the different t-case is shorter, allowing a flatter pinion angle? Or do you already have a CV Driveshaft setup?

I'd LOVE to do the 33 Engineering skid, but it's the other items that really rack up the costs (SYE/DS, adj control arms in back, new driveshaft). It easily becomes a $1,000+ mod if you want to do it with quality parts.

have the CV driveshaft
.....however, since the recent higher lift, Frank is changing it to a shaft with ujoints on both ends to correct angles
