33's on a bb?

im thinking about getting a 2 inch RE bb and i was wondering if i could fit a 33x10.5 tire on my tj after the lift. Should i just stick with 32's instead of trying to fit 33's on?

I just recieved the 2008 RE catalog and they are now producing 2.5'' coil springs

but to squeeze 33'' on a BB you would be in your fender wells. either grab a small body lift or go with a bigger spring like the 2.5 re and some 1inch spacers

I have the RE BB and a 1" BL and have no problems rubbing with my 33's I wouldnt think that you would have a problem just with the BB....

I think that kit even says you can run 33's. I did have mine offroad 2 weekends ago and never rubbed once..

2"BB w 1.25 BL and 36 12.50 go figure

I just wouldnt recommed going off road or attempting flex. Youll be fine w 33's I think.

as long as you adjust you bump stops accordingly youll be fine... you wont have much uptravel tho.

fyi: I have a 2"spring lift and a 1.25" BL and never adjusted my bump stops and now my front fender "lip" (where the flare bolts to) has been "clearanced" by my 33's

Im rubbing with my 3.5RE lift when im wheeling at full flex. i have the rub marks in my fender well and my fender flares are stretched haha.

hell i could prolly fit 40s underneath my jeep if i didnt wheel it. just because they clear in the driveway doesn't mean you wont be tearing apart your fenders off the paved road.

heres an example oof when i have rub issues. if you keep your sway bar connected you will prolly be ok with a BB and 1.25 body lift.

thanks guys, i figured 33's would rub a bit on the trail, but i usually leave the sway bar connected cause its a pain in the ass without quick discos...i might just stick with 32's until i have the money for a 3.5 inch lift...

a little off topic: If you want some cheap quick discos, read this: http://www.4x4xplor.com/homediscos.html
I did that and it cost me $7.10 with a spare. just gotta check em every once in a while because the "pin head"s will wear.

I have the 2" bb with the 1.25 bl and 33x12.5. In extreme situations, my tires eat my fender wells and flares. Not in mild off roading, but on the big rocks. (I'm supprised I still have flares). Looking for some hockey-pucks.
