Did you check our For Sale section? I thought there was a set for sale in there. If not there how about where you bought your lift kit from.

on the wheels you would get some slight rubbing. And good amount of rubbing if you try cranking the wheel all the way left or right. Just don't do thatand you will be fine.

35" tires on 97 TJ

I just installed 35 x 12.50 x 15 on steel wheels. No wheel spacers. Four inch lift including spings, upper and lower controls arms, track bars, dropped pitman arm, heavy duty drag link, slip yoke eliminator.

No rubbing on steering. Just an occasional bottom out rub with four people in the jeep and hit a big bump in the trail.

33's on stock wheels

Most of the 'Factory' Jeep wheels have large rear offsets to keep the tire under the fender flare - as a result, when you put on larger tires, i.e. wider, then you end up rubbing when you turn the wheel hard. This is quite common with Rubicon Moab wheels - people normally put 1.25" spacers on when putting the larger tires.

You don't say what type of stock wheels, but if you turn your wheels hard and measure the clearance, you should get an idea if you're going to have trouble.

dont waste money on the spacers.. rims about 50-75 a pop spacers like 150 dollars for two.. save the money and get the rims with proper backspacing.. do things right the first time... imo

How are spacers wrong and what if you like your factory alloys?

X2. Except for those who love their OE aluminum wheels so much they'll never get rid of them, I'd never install spacers either. New wheels aren't that much more than some spacers cost.

steel rims are $60x5=300
spider trax spacers= $100 to $130 for two times two thats pretty much the same price as getting five rims depending on bolt pattern.

some states wont pass you for spacers at inspection either

Mass is one of those states so I would stay away from spacers if I were you. Unless you already need tires, I would wait and just get the tires mounted on the new rims in a couple of months instead of spending the money on spacers/mounting and balancing the tires twice.

i had a statey measure from the bottom of my door with a ruler yesterday. the only reason he pulled me over was to check my sill height to make sure it was legal.

Just another reason I'd never want to live in Taxachussettes.

Jegs and Summit Racing both have good prices. No shipping, just a 11-12 buck processing fee. I got a set of 5 for Christmas from my wife. I went with the V5's. If you are into center caps you can get the plain 3.3 inch for about half price of the Cragar caps through ebay. Now I just need to get the Gambler's out of my garage and put my lift on

Ditto..

I had 33's and they were small on my 4" Lift with the 1"BL - so I moved up to the 35" KM2s and it looks perfect. (at least in my eyes)

I haven't had time to get a new photo with the 35's.

With a 6" lift, you'll definitely want at least 35s. I had a friend that ran 37s with a 5.5" RE LA.
