3rd rear light

i'm up here in mass and i must always have the 3rd light installed in the rear. it's a federal d.o.t. light i'm told. how do i relocate it to compansate for a 33 inch tire? i have been looking at the raised rear tire carrier to compansate but i don't see any of them with the light reinstalled. i don't want a swinging tire carrier on my bumper. i'm eventually going to have a nice roof rack, i'll put the tire up there or in the rear of the tub.

There are a couple of companies that sell rear brake light relocation brackets. Check at Quadratec or 4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers. One of them should have what you are looking for.

If you have to ask what it is or what it does, you don't need it, and you will need help to install it!

I cut 1" to 1.5" sections out of some plastic pipe I had laying around. Just used them as spacers. Free!

Go to the hardware store and get 4 X 1.25" female pipe nipples like this
and 4 2" bolts with nuts and washer and for $6 you are good to go.Or you could go with the clear PVC couplers that look cool also.
