4.56 gears

I have to re-gear my front axle to match my rear axle, any direction as to what brand. i see some for $120 and i see some for $300. Its my daily driver with 35s and I get off road only a couple times a year. I live in FL so there no such thing as rock crawling.

You mean they are not the same. I think they must be the same to use 4x4 without binding up the drivetrain.

the front driveshaft is removed. also i believe that it only locks the front and rear together when in four low. in two wheel and four wheel high its not locked in. i may be wrong and a pro might advise otherwise.

I just did my rears, I installed yukon gears with a timken bearing kit, ordered them from randys ring an pinion, I will do the same when I do the front also. I did alot of research and was told not to cheap out on gears, also cheaper gears can be a bit noisy also. I am a firm believer you get what you pay for,
Good luck

I just re-geared mine to 4.56. For the rear I used the OEM Dana Spicer ring & pinion. OEM isn't available for the front in a 4.56 ratio. I ended up using Sierra Gear ring & pinion. I like the OEM sets but the Sierra Gear brand set up nice and I have had no issues.
