4 cyl interchange

I have a 97 2.5 wrangler. I have found some 93 2.5 motors. Everything I see they are not the same? Can they be made the same? Thanks for any help!

you will probably have to change the intakes and dist. and your exhaust but it should be done easily enough. We put a 95 2.5 in an 89 one time and we had to flip all the intake and wiring harness stuff but it was an easy enough swap

If you bought a 97 for 200.00 dollars you just bought pure gold my friend. it would bring more than that to the scrap yard.

Has a dented left quarter(the back radius) and cracked flair but other wise body is good. Paint is faded on hood. Soft top is rough shape. Widshield is cracked. Nice to know I got a good deal. I thought I did ok even though it needs a motor??? I really was looking for a YJ but this came up so I bought it.
