4 Cylinder Exhaust

Well I had another thread goin but I can't find it anymore... Idk what happened. Anyways, I just got rear ended the other day an I need new exhaust from the cat back.

What are you running? I've been looking up a few choices...
Banks monster, MBRP, and Magnaflow are the three I am looking at right now.

If anyone is running one of these three or anything else, feel free to chime in!!! I'm open to all suggestions!

P.S. I dont want it to sound like a ricer. I would like a nice deep, low tone... Thank you!

Deep and low is a real challenge for any 4-banger. I finally installed my new exhaust. Originally ordered one of Quadratec's "Special Edition " Magnaflow systems. Backordered.

Bought a Dynomax system (#19391) and installed it. It's not real loud, and I like that since my Jeep is forever topless / doorless. Just too much work trying to get it to sound like something it ain't, so I settled. Seems to flow real well, and seat of the pants tells me it's better than stock.

Got a $75 debit card on the way for my troubles too!

Does it sound like a "ricer"? Like is it high pitched? Or lower?

I have the Dynomax on my 2005 TJ 2.4L. It sounds nice. It's not really loud, but I don't think most 4-cyls sound good enough to wanna advertise.

The little Jeep sleeps next to my Hemi Ram which is sporting dual Flowmasters, so it's really not worthwhile to make the Jeep sound cool.

I don't dig the ricer noise either. I'd say "not" in terms of sounding like one.

Tone ia a relative thing. Is it Lower??? Compared to what? A V8 - No way!

I think it sounds okay though...

I've been listening to exhausts on YouTube (I know it's prolly not that accurate on the sound) but the ones that I mentioned in my original post all sound like a deep rumble. The magnaflow sounds really good, the banks sounds really loud and I like the mbrp sound cuz its not too loud but still deep

Did you just buy the muffler and have a shop weld it up or did you get a full exhaust? I too have the 2.4l and Im looking for a new exhaust.
