4 inch lift

My friend has a 4 inch lift on his tj and is offering to sell it to me. He doesn't know what the springs are but it has the teraflex shocks. Included in the lift will be everything needed to properly run the 4 inch lift. Like adjustable track bars. What is it worth?

How much?

Everything needed also includes control arms, Sye, new rear driveshaft, springs, shocks, adj track bar front and rear, extended brake lines, bump stop extensions, anti-sway bar extensions front and rear. Plus steering, brakes, and gears if you plan to run bigger tires.

To tell what it's worth, we would need to know the quality of the components

To do a 4" suspension lift, you will have to address drive line vibrations by either installing rear adjustable control arms, an sye, and a double cardan drive shaft (all of which may be installed on the donor Jeep which you won't be getting) or about an 1 1/2" transfer case drop which will work (but also lowers your ground clearance in the center that 1 1/2".

As far as value goes, it depends on the lift brand and how old it is. Springs sag over time and shocks wear out. Personally if I ever did buy a used lift, I wouldn't pay more than a couple of hundred...if that.

I would say you do a lil math. Figure out the height call up dealers for estimates. Then figure out how much wear the set has you know like driving and then price it fair.

Your buddy is probably trying to use your money to buy new coils etc. So know that if your tryin to negotiate may not be alotta wiggle without hard facts

What is the gear ratio on the new to you jeep? Steering upgrades? Brake upgrades?

If there is a tc drop, I'll bet non of the other stuff was addressed
