4" SL, 33" vs 35"

Looking to replace my 3" BL with a 4" SL and wondering if it would still look good with 33" or would 35"s look better

Anyone that has either or these sets and would post a picture I would appreciate it

I got 4" lift with 2" spacers up front I can fit 35"s but the BFH KM2s were on 8month national back order so went with 33"s

I've got a 4in with some 33x12.50x15, plenty of room for flexing.

Nice jeeps guys. I think I'll keep my 33s then. They just look small to be from the side. Must be a jeep thing to get bigger tires and couple months later feel like they are too small

I'm on 33's with a 4" suspension lift. Personally I think it looks perfect proportion wise. I contemplated going to 35's myself but I just couldn't justify the extra expense involved for regearing, brake upgrade's, recommended shaft upgrades etc. Just wasn't worth it. I just got new wheels & tires but in the 33's like what was on it and it made all the difference in the world. Looks perfect in my opinion!

4" is perfect for 33s offroad. Plenty of room to flex and run disconnected without rubbing. You can run 35s on 4" but you'll have to limit your suspension travel quite a bit to avoid rubbing with extended bumpstops. Not to mention the myriad of other upgrades you need to make to run 35s properly instead of 33s, 35s is a big jump for a lot of reasons.

35" may look better but can your drivetrain handle a 35" tire is the question you should be asking...

Ya my buddy has 6" with 35s and does fine. But like everyone said is it worth the huge money I would have to spend to regear and everything else that goes with putting 35s on

I'd go with 33's. 35's is a whole new ball game in my opinion. 35's will require steering upgrades if you wheel your jeep heavily to moderately. Also will require upgraded axles to properly run on trails if you do anything more than very light trail riding and around town driving. The stock dana 30 and 35 definitely can't handle 35's under stress when offroad. And as it is you're probably gonna have to do other mods just with the 4" lift to make sure your jeep is set up correctly like adjustable trackbars, sye/cv driveshaft (or t-case drop till you can do that), possibly new control arms (definitely will need them if you decide to get the sye/cv), etc.
Not trying you scare you, just letting you know what all comes with running 35's properly.

Bought it with 33's on the 4 inch lift. Went to 35's, stock bump stops and trimmed flares. No rubbing since the trim. I did add the Currie HD steering linkage.
