Question 4cyl ?

My 4 cyl engine seems to rattle and be quite noisy at idle. I know it does not have bad bearings because the power is great and it uses no oil. Are all the 4 cyl engines noisy? I remember the GM 4 cyl engines used in the buicks and Olds sedans used to be noisy and they were also 2.5 LTR 4 cyl engines.

Nope I get barely or no vibes and it's not to loud to the point where it bothers I can listen to music at low volumes no problem.

Could just need new plugs and wires if it's running rough at idle. My 4cyl has had slight ticking noise ever since I got it. From what others have said it's not something to get too crazy about and is somewhat normal.

The ticking noise is usually pretty easy to fix. I have seen it on a few jeeps. It is usually the exhaust manifold or exhaust flange being slightly loose. I check my manifold bolts often as they occasionally somehow get loose
