4cyl lift question

I recently purchased a 1998 wrangler, currently doing some body work to it and repainting I bought a few upgrades already including a set of 32 inch BFgoodrich mud terrains, the previous owner put in a 4 cylinder block and some of the original parts to complete the engine,so my question is can I lift the truck without bogging down my 4 cylinders too much, I've been getting mixed answers, some people say the tires are what's going to slow me down and not the lift, and some say the opposite that the tires won't do anything and the lift will slow me down, I'd be happy to get some clarification and even some suggestions. Thanks

lift only makes room for the tires... risk some vibes and death wobble but its the tires that will bog ya... the bigger the tire the more torque required to turn it. think of it like a screw driver fatter handle easier to turn the screw.... only in the opposite direction.
