Be been looking at these light bars, and I have some jeep spending cash.

Just wondering what are important things to know before buying one, and also how they wire up. Will I need a relay or anything of that nature with the light bar?

Thanks!

If I were to buy a genetic light bar, what company could I buy a relay from?

how are you going to mount it? with the poison spyder kit? dont waste your money with a bar from china. buy a baja designs onyx bar. best led light bar on the market. 10watt leds. but be careful. they have a tendency to blind everyone within a 5 mile radius of you.

But are they 700$+? And yes I was thinking the motorbilt or poisonspyder, leaning to motobilt

im just giving you shit. the china bars work just fine. but buy from someone who warrantys their product. get a flood/spot combo, most are, and youll be happy with it. what color is your jeep? im asking because the brighter the color the more glare youll get inside the cab. my hids on my windshield glare so much i can read a book inside.

SO ijust got one from jeep add ons there a vender here, dual row LED by ENGO, 50in cost 369. i got poison spyders mounts because i didnt like the looks of the other companies mounts, $200 wired it in 10min comes with everything you need just paint the mounts. and have a buddy on hand because mine were a tension mount that came together as you screw in the light bar.

as you can tell it doesn't ride above the top of the roof line

Its all complete system it comes with everything. just connect it to batteries with supplied wiring and your set even comes with a switch a relay box its simple. you dont need to buy anything but the lightbar and mounts

Poison Spyder's mounts are awesome. Puts the light just at the top of the windshield, out of line of sight, and still below the roof line.

You may have to modify where you mount the light though, I had to open up the bolt hole and slot to fit the correct sized bolt in to hold my light. (Black Box Logistics 50" DRX) Other than that, they fit perfectly. Oh, and drill a hole to mount my mirrors.
