I did it and drove before i saw that response. Seems fine. I'm going back to 5w30 next change. Prolly gonna do it around 2500. Read that its not good but wont hurt unless its a permeate switch.

I see your in WV hopefully it don't get hot there anytime soon. If you start having 80-90 degree weather during your run I would change it sooner than later. I would do mine tomorrow but to each is own. Good luck brother.

Hopefully it wont get that hot anytime soon. Pretty mild lately. Like i said tho, not a permanent swap. Just an accident. And thanks. If it starts sounding weird or driving weird, its the first thing ill change.

By the time it sounds "weird" the damage is done. Engines do not get well and heal over. That is really too thin for your engine, but, who knows, doubt it will cause any problem for a few thousand miles.

it will probably be alright if the weather is cool-cold and if you dont over heat the engine. if it starts getting warm it will be way to thin for your engine, and wont build enough pressure to keep the bearings, lifter and such happy
