the speakers included are crap, if you get it you should plan on getting some better speakers for it, and when they say woofer they don't mean subwoffer.

how difficult would it be to just drill the OEM soound bar to add speakers ?

i upgraded to a set of component speakers, so i had to mount the tweeter and it was easy to do, i ended up mounting the crossover inside the sound bar.

Should be very easy, my case was different. Tweeters were torn, and did not wanna deal with them.

Well, I installed them, and they sound so much better than before. I put the 5 inch (or 5 1/2) ones in the front with adapter, soundbar has 6 speakers.. Sounds crisp clear with just enough bass..
