I'm not trying to keep the wrangler axel. I think danas are garbage. I plan on going 8.8 explorer rear end with 4.88.

3in body lift isn't the way to go but like said before do what u feel is right and if u r planning on going to 37s might as well save for a beefier front axle instead of dumping money into the d30 just to have to upgrade it and might as well do higher in the rear end as well

I plan on building a front axel and getting rid of the Dana and what do you mean higher in the rear. I'm going 4.88 gears.

All I'm saying is that if I get rid of my body lift I'm gonna loose 3" of tire clearance that I can't get back with the suspension.

4.88 on 37s is like 4.10 on 35s not optimal but can be done ur gonna want 5.13 and u can gain 3in in clearance wit flat fenders I'm just saying 3in bf is a bit much I'm on 2in and it's pushing for me but I plan or skid and protect which requires at least 1in bf so I'm stickin wit it

Well right now I have 33s on stock gears and I might be wrong but that is 3.07 if not its 3.73. Either way even if i did get 37s it would be an upgrade. I'm not trying to do anything crazy with my jeep. This is gonna be my new hobby, not my lifestyle or job.

What kind of front axle are you looking at if you don't want a Dana?

Well I already have the 4" lift and 3" BL. I'm thinking about just going up 1" on the front cause my jeep doesnt sit level because I don't have a hard top or a spare tire/tire carrier. So that would be 5 in the front and 4 in the rear on the body. What you think? It would sit level and I would still have the 3" BL for Clearance on the 37s.

Yea, well I'll have to talk to the guy that does my work and see what he says, it might come down to that.
