8.8 swap drive shaft/sye

i been working on the axle for my tj, im thinking i might as well step up the driveshaft from the stock one, currently has a 4" lift on it w/sye, i noticed the housing for my sye is spider webbed, i was looking online on some sites that did the swap with a tomwoods shaft and jb sye,

any one got an opinion if i should upgrade or put the money to a differnt part and keep the stock shaft?

I don't get your question - you have a rear SYE already, right, so the rear shaft isn't stock in the first place. And are you saying that the aluminum rear housing of your t'case is cracking, or appears about to do so?

If I were starting over, which I'm not, I'd do a JB super-short SYE instead of the non-JB SS-SYE I have now, as JP appears to have a few good engineering touches for theirs that others lack. For the shaft, I'd stick with the locally-built heavy-duty rear shaft that cost less than Tom Woods and was made by people I know who have a shop 10 minutes from my house. I'm sure Mr. Woods makes a good shaft, but I can't see the point in paying someone in another state to make something and ship it to me when I can do the same thing down the street for the same price or less.
