8" wheels or 10"?

Pulling the trigger on my new Duratrac 33x12.5 and new wheels. 2002 TJ with 4" lift. Do I go with 8" wheels or 10"?

8". IMO 10" is too wide and you won't be able to air down as much.

For anything <= 12.5" wide, 8" wide wheel. For > 12.5" go with a 9" or 10" wide wheel. Most tires will tell you the size wheel it requires to.

Stick with 8" width. When you air down, you will have more sidewall flex which is less likely to bust a beed on the trails. I don't like the look of 10" width on a 12.50 tire. Too much 'poke' for me.

I've had 33s on 8 wide for ten years. But my next set will be on 10 wide, I think they look better that way. More tread hitting the ground.

i prefer the look of 10s so thats wat i had on my old jeep. now im on stock 8in. but i think most ppl will tell u that 8s are better for the trail i couldnt tell u either way. i saw no diff. i had the same size tire on both rigs i still used the same deflaters down to 12 psi never had any flats or lost a bead.
