97 soft top question

I picked this up as a fixer upper ,,
The last jeep I owned was a 88 so I didnt know it was missing the door surrounds ,, so I found a set and should be picking them up this week end .

My question is, does this top look right for this jeep?

The pictures are from the add on ebay , I did stretch the top on better when I got it home .

All ready changed the rims from steel to aluminum that I found on craigslist for 100.00, and a set of nice matching tires also 100 bucks .

I also installed new upper skins last night no pictures

It looks right to me but perhaps the top was off for a while and stored so it has wrinkles. As long as everything seems snug I think you are good. Do all of the plastic pieces (not sure what you call them but the go under the lip on the frame) fit tightly?

Is that a aftermarket top? Looks like it might be, if so--

You should have a adjustment to tighten up the top on the side bows. Depending on the year top. I think they are different.
check it out and report back.

Edit: oh never mind it looks OEM.
Something does not look right. I should fit as long as all the parts for that given year are all there

Heres a picture after I tightened it up and installed the new door skins. And it is a aftermarket top I think Best top. I hope when the door surrounds are installed that helps.

The door surrounds should take care of all the wrinkling and that does look like the right soft top. Bestop is not an afternarket brand (well, they make aftermarket tops too), Bestop is actually the OE top manufacturer for brand-new Jeeps.

Oh. Just realized you did not have the door surrounds. Ya that will do it.
