Yup, plugs, cap and rotor, maybe wires, oil change, air filter if needed. Go from there.

congrats on the new Jeep.
you need to take off and clean the throttle body really good ( you can find many detailed instructions on here just do a search. you also need to replace the iac ( idle air control )
and tps ( throttle position sensor ) both located on the throttle body and you will have them off while your cleaning it any ways.
also if it was me i would replace the up stream o2 sensor
feel free to give me a call if you have any question as you do these.
The good thing about owning a Jeep is the it will make you a master mechanic but it is the best classroom training you will ever get

It only does it after its warmed up or should I say it does it worst when it's warmed up. The guy that had it before me replace plugs wire and cap but nit the button. When I got it there where 2 volts missing of the manifold so I replaced them. The word I got from him was the motor has been rebuilt maybe 10,000 miles ago not sure how much of a rebuild was done.

I keep having trouble with the manifold coming loose on my 97. The first time it actually sheered off the rear bolt on the drivers side.
