99 jeep wrangler "stroker" 4.5L

I need help! this is where I'm at.. I have the crank for a 4.2 long s. I have the seal power piston's and all the Block work done. is or will it be a problem if I put my 4.0L rods on my piston's ? also I'm having it all ballanced myself piston/rods. or would it be better for me to buy the 4.2 rods. I have not that much more money to put in it right now. I'm just doing it for my son.later on I'm going to get into some more things with it. but from what all I have do you see any kind of a problem comeing down the road for me cause I just can't afford it right now. Thank You for any help and info. Also if anyone is looking for a 2002 vary nice TJ sport 4.0 air 5 speed blue I know where one is for 8,500 vary nice.it's a Alabama jeep no rust.
