99 tj battery issue

Hi Guys. Question,, I have a 1999 Jeep Tj automatic with the 4.0 ltr. I run a Mean Green 200 amp alt. and dual Optima red top batteries with the OEM temp sensor. I have had an issue with the optimas frying. It wasnt always this way this only started last year. The alternator is only 3 yrs old and test out perfectly at idle and under full load. This is my second full set of batteries that the beast has killed. The jeep also seems to drain the batteris fast. For example in a bout 4 days of non use the system seems depleted. I employ a viper alarm and car starter, Pioneer Avic N-3 and nothing els worth mentioning. Any thoughts on what may be happining ? Or any thoughts on the temp sensor? I'm going nuts......

Thanks for your Help.... Glen
