'99 TJ cragar soft 8 wheels

For my birthday i want some Cragar soft 8's to put on my jeep. I know my ratio is 3.07 so no time soon in the next years will i go over 30, which is on there right now. my question is should i get the 15x7 or 15x8 wheels for 30 inch tires? is there a look difference between the two sizes?

i know both have the same back spacing

depends on what width tire u will be running. 8" wide are very popular for 10.5"-12.5" tires

Do you ever plan on running a bigger tire size? That will determine which one you should get. Both will work on the 30" tire, but the 15x8 would be better for future tire size upgrades.

If i go over 30, it will be in 3 years. so not any time soon. for a 30 inch tire, will one size wheel look better than the other?

Stock tires for the sport were 30x9.5 on 15x8. I'd go ahead and get them if you have plans on going up to 33s eventually.

3 years isn't that far away, I'd go with the 15x8's.

I have 31x10.50's on 15x8 Soft 8's, stock suspension.

alright, see the thing is, i'm 15 and my jeep is all stock, and it has the 3.07 gear ratio. so the way it is i don't wanna go over 30. and my dad said as long as it's in his name he's not changing the ring and pinions. and ill turn 18 in 3 years. so for right now, i have to run 30's. once i turn 18, and it gets a few more miles on it, ill lift it, change ring and pinions and all that.

Look at it this way, 3 year from now you an save yourself at least 250 bucks or more as metal prices go up all the time.. get the 15x8 with say around 4" of back spacing. BTW, I run 33x12.50 on 3.07's. Street wise its fine.
