99 tj d30 & 35

i have a 99 TJ with the Dana 30/35 combo and 30's. i saw the ratio on the dif. cover was 3.07. what kind of speeds will i get with this ratio? is it to high?

3.07 is for economy, not performance. With tires bigger than 27-28", performance is going to be abysmal. Yes, 3.07 is too high of a ratio for a Jeep that runs bigger tires and goes offroad.

well i mean it's not going to be taken offroad. just some cragar wheels and nothing bigger than 30's

well since you have the i6, you'll be alright running 31s.. i ran 31s stock on the same exact setup from 99 to 06..

i have 3:07 with 35's and it sucks royal ass. if anyone is interested in a rock river arms AR15 let me know. I'm selling it to get new gears. oh yeah, its damn near impossible to find a replacement axle too.
