99 wrangler cluster.

i am trying to install a BEM cluster backing. it has a power wire and a ground. I need to know which wire on the headlight switch i should splice into, so that was when i turn my lights on, the cluster glows.

Do you have a FSM? If not, a guy on this forum, Atthehop, can help you get one for your year Jeep.

Thumbs up

ok, so this is what i did. found in the manual a wire (E2 20 OR) which is an orange 20gauge wire, it hooks up to everything that lights up in the cockpit when u kick your headlamps on(radio, cluster, heating and a/c.....). so i just spliced the power wire (red) from the cluster facing into the orange wire that hooks up to aux switch locations near the cigarette lighter and hooked the ground to the ground wire that was part of the same attachment. i just cut the male end of the plug off and wired them together. easy as that. i think it looks pretty damn sic.
