A/C blower motor replacement

Both heater and A/C only work on high. I'm guessing its just process of elimination but I really doubt its the compressor because it blows cold, I'm thinking its the blower motor. dont know if its a big deal the part is only 70$-80$ I'd like to try and replace it myself, anyone have any ideas or suggestions???

If it only works on hi then your blower motor is fine, the blower motor resistor is bad as it is what controls the lower speeds.

Simple replacement, its right behind the glove box. Should be like a $40 part

X2 you'd be really pizzed when you replaced the blower motor only to find it did the same thing. And double pizzed when the store tells you no returns on electrical items.

Take a little time to look things over, instead of guessing. Guessing gets expensive.

The resistor is a common failure. But just for S&G's pull the control head too. Just for your sake. The blower switch can sometimes puke too. Easy to tell, connector will usually be burnt.

Mine did the same thing, it was the $26 dollar switch on mine. Got it at Autozone and took me about 30 minutes to replace.

X4 on blower motor resistor, if it only works on high that is the best thing to replace first because the blower motor bypasses the resistor on the highest setting and its a cheap fix!
