A couple questions from a new guy....

One, our 2003 didn't have the owners manual, and the only FREE download I could find was a 2004... Are there any significant differences I need to be aware of?
And two, before we take it out next year, we are needing to get a soft top to replace the hard top, and I find some TJ tops are for '97 to 2002, and 2003 to 2006, while others are listed as 1997 to 2006 inclusive. What am I missing thanks, Rick

I think the padding on the soft top was thickened on 03. So that probably has something to do with it.

I have an '04 and the padding on the rollbars location and mounting of speaker pods and some hardware is different between the '97-'02 and '03 and later.

There was also a exhaust header issue as well as a spilling when refilling issue...also I believe you have an ignition pack/ railsystem instead of cap and rotor plug wires. The vents were moved to the tailgate so the doors would close better also.

I think that is most of the differences......I have a halftop on my'04 that is not supposed to "fit" but it does...I had to remove the too thick padding. Some of the frameless tops may present an issue not as tight or too tight

The 2004 manual will be very close if not exactly like the '03. Worth the price ($0.00) for sure.
