a few questions

Ok here goes...
First Question

The jeep I bought had a 3" body lift on it. I just bought a 4" suspension lift and I'm going to remove the body lift.
So far, I know:
-I will need new hardware to bolt the body to the frame. I'm considering just replacing the old body bushings with new stuff anyway.
-I will need to move the radiator/fan shroud back up to its stock location.
-I will need to remove the section of fuel filler hose and possibly remake one to the stock length.
What else will I need to do?
Any ideas? I haven't started pulling it apart yet.

Second Question

What could cause my 4wd indicator light not to work?
I can pull the instrument panel, but I dont want to get it all the way apart to figure out its something retarded and easy. Any ideas?

Your going to want to also check to see if there are any brackets for the TCase Linkage and make sure that any provisions made for the transmission shifter won't cause any issues when you lower it back down.

And on you light. Check on your TCase and make sure all of the connectors are fastened. There should be two. One goes to the Speedo gear for your speedometer and the other one is your 4wd indicator. It will be towards the top.

There may be some some kind of a bracket or extender on the steering shaft too.

Yeah, I remembered that steering extension after I posted. That one is easy if I remember correctly.

I'm really just trying to see if I want to get into this on my own or if I want to let the shop do it. I already got a price from them to install the 4" suspension lift.
I might be able to get them to take the BL off for cheap (free ) since I just spent a few grand with them .

Thats why my smiley was rolling his eyes.
But, considering how much money I just dropped in their shop, I might be able to get them to hook me up. If I can get the BL off while its in, thats one weekend that I won't have to screw with it, and thats worth alot to me.

my 4wd light wasn't working either, the full time and part time were both out. The guy at the dealership first told me the bulb was burnt out, but I had to take it in for other reasons and I asked them to check the light out for me too since it's still under warranty. Anyway, they said the switch was bad...Doesn't make sense to me because I was still able to go into 4 high and low, but that's what they told me, and it was working when I picked it up. So I would say check your switch.
