A new member of the family

I just bought this 2006 LJ Rubicon with almost 87000miles a 6sp. I got it with both the hard and soft top.

So now my wife and I have a 2000 sahara hers and mine the 2006 LJ Rubi

Thanks guys. So far I love it, I find it more enjoyable to drive then my 2011 impreza that I traded in for the LJ. The only thing I'm getting use to is the 6th gear and the revearse on because they both in the same direction. The dealership is replacing the windshield some time next week and the other thing I can't figure out is how to turn the shift knob back into its proper direction. I'll and get some inside shots up later. I love the fact that this was a one owner Jeep and very well maintianed.

Sweet! What did you pay for it? I've got an 04' SWB Rubi and love it.

You can pry the shift pattern insert out of the shift knob with a jewelers screwdriver. Then just reinstall it facing right direction. Nice looking jeep btw!

Fair warning: i couldnt get my shift pattern off the knob without boogering up the knob itself. Not a big deal for me as i was replacing it with a 13 ball.

Paid a little under 19K for it. It is right around book price and everything works on it which is a good plus for me and I don't have to worry about tires for alittle bit, it came with duratrac's, but I've got to find a 16" rim for the spare so I can match the tire size up because the spare that is with it is on a 15" and a very small size at that.
