A question in need of an answer.

First off, I'm a noob to the forum posting, but have used these forums to aid me in repair jobs and such for my 01TJSE, and for that I thank you.

Allow me to relay some info before I ask my question. I am about to start the fun job of replacing my exhaust manifold. I bought a Chilton Manual all the parts I will need, and now all is left is the plan of action. After reading the manual a few times and looking at the job at hand, I noticed a few steps not needing to be taken when the manual sends me to another chapter to remove this or that. One other that I noticed is my question: Do I have to remove the Throttle Body to remove the intake manifold or can I leave it all one piece and pull the intake off with the TB in place? Taking the TB down to "bare bones" but with out taking it completely off.

Thanks for any input in advance.
