a real noob question about lift kits.

without a lift kit is the body bolted directly to the frame without any spacers?...... between the frame and body, mine has 1.5" black spacers.

Those are factory body mount bushings. they absorb vibration and whatnott from the frame to the body.

that means the 2000 sport will allow 32" tires without a lift and no rubbing?

no, the tire size recommended takes these bushings into account when gauging tire clearance and rubbing issues...

tiger is right. If your looking to run 32's go for at least a 2" budget boost with shocks.

best suggestion for 32's (if your interested in running them), and if your just beginning on the jeep is to go with some 2.5" coils and a 1" BL. this is the cheapest way to achieve "true" clearance with 32's. if you just get the 2.5'' coils you will have limited flex due to the lack of room under your fenders (the extra 1" from a body lift will make a big difference off road). some will say get the budget boost (spacers) but i would steer clear from these. i have one and wish everyday that i would have sacrificed just a little more and gone with coils.
