ABS question.

Hi everybody. I was wondering if ABS was an option in 98. I was snooping around under there last night and i see no evidence of there being any type of ABS. Is that normal to not have it?? Not that i enjoy having a computer stop for me anyway but just wondering. Thanks.

Mine's an '02 Sport and doesn't have it.
(Unless a PO took it all off.)

ABS was an option from day-one with the Wrangler TJ, my '97 TJ came with it. The ABS controller will be found on that flat tray on the driver's side in front of the firewall in roughly the opposite side the battery is on if your TJ has ABS.

Ok cool there isnt anything in the fuse for the fuse or relay to plug into just empty slots. I might be behond the times but i figured something as new as a 98 would have 4 wheel ABS.

I was wondering about ABS as well. Is it standard in a LJ Rubi or just optional?

Well shoot, I think Wrangler is the last US vehicle where air conditioning is still optional, even on the 2012s.
