Added Headlight Bezels and Painted Hard Top!

OK... latest upgrades (Today) include the side rails, black headlight bezels and painted the hard top with Krylon Fusion Satin Black.

The hardtop came out OK... the roof isn't the best but who see's that?!

(Still need to get another spare tire!!)

Haha why keep the rim even on the carrier? Your just adding useless weight. And weight is a jeeps death. For every 100lbs there's a 7hp drop from base. Your only hurting yourself

You're right - coz of course... I bought the Jeep for speed!

Just put it on there as I'll be getting the tire fitted in the AM.

I'm thinking it'll make one hell of a Hummer Bumper... when they are busy on their cell phones and run into the back of me!

Well the extra hp just helps all around. It would preform better on and of road. And the lessened weight gives you better mpg. I ditched my whole spare tire assembly all together. And keep a tire repair kit that weights under a pound in the jeep instead. Think about it how many times have you actually used a spare tire

@ Mike - Actually the repair kit might be a good idea!
It worked for me for years on the bike.
You're right, on a Jeep probably would use the spare... The Acura has found two nails in the last 3 years however!

@ Jim - Cheers Jim... Told you those bezels were coming! LOL!

Yep, the fires burning stronger than a CA forest fire!

@ Nevada - No lift and Wrangler 31's 10.5

Cars absolutely. But neither of the SUVs I had had ever used the spare. Always just tire patched them. I had a 91blazer and it still had the factory spare on it when I got rid of it last September.

No lift? Looks like a 2 inch. Maybe it's the all black tires and wheels.

Going to 2 inch springs in the next month or so with 31's, mainly because mine are brand new.

Keep up the good work!

By the way, blue Jeeps are cool!!!
