First off, how much heavy 4 wheeling do you plan on doing?
Maybe look at different diffs, dependent on what you have already. Or Lockers.
Lifts and such are nice, but having the grunt capability underneath you may get you further down the trail. High off the ground is nice, but not as nice as having all FOUR wheels digging you out of a hole.
Way back when one of my best buds had a raggedy old CJ5. Sat on skinny military treads, and locked diffs. He would P/O the other 4wd's by going right through the same stuff they had to battle through, then he'd climb out and lock his hubs in.
