I need some advice please.
I recently bought an '03 Sahara Automatic(42RLE). The dealer replaced/refurbished the drive shaft and replaced the U-joints before I bought it.
The gearbox need new oil so this will be done this weekend.
What bothers me at this point is on the freeway there is this humming sound at around 50mph and also at around 60mph. Only when I'm driving at a constant speed and not accelerating. It is not a permanent sound but an on-off-on-off-on-off humming sound from the rear end somewhere.
It is '03 Sahara 4.0 4Spd automatic with 2" budget boost and 31" BF Goodrich All Terrains on 16" wheels with D44 rear. The rest is stock.
Any ideas what this could be? Could it be the tyres or the rear differential? Should I get this checked out by the dealer or is this normal on a Wrangler.
