Advise on Jeep purchase

I'm looking for a Jeep and came across one that we are interested in. It will be an extra vehicle for us and driven often but not a commuting car for us. The Jeep I am looking at is a 2005 Wrangler X, Auto, 4.0, Rocky Mountain, A/C, 75,000 miles, soft top. It has new breaks and tires and is in very nice condition. Worth $11,500 in your opinion?

Is that what you offered or is that the asking price? I'd offer the guy $10-10,500 for it. I bought my 02 X model from a dealer 3 years ago for $10k and it had 55k on the odo.

Do you plan to keep it pretty much as is or do you think it might turn into an offroad toy with bigger tires like 33" or bigger?

They were originally asking $13,500... $11,500 is about the best I can do. I plan on keeping it as is for now. Possibly a minimal lift and 31's down the road. No major off roading, just some light trail rides etc. Much research to do before I do any mods. though. Anything in particular I should be looking for as far as common problems? Does the higher than average pose a problem?
