Aftermarket bumper

So I am going to make my own bumper that will eventually have a place for the winch I will someday have. Do your aftermarket bumpers have cut outs so the frame comes through to the front of the bumper like on stock ones or does the bumper back just mount to the end of the frame where the red arrow is? I know this is a bit confusing, but I do not know how else to ask it.

My bumper slides over the frame like stock and mounts on the existing holes.
