I have Bestop sport fabric Trailmax from Morris 4x4, they ride better than seats in my GMC Acadia on long trips plus they clean up nice!

I've got them adapted to the stock TJ floor mounts/sliders. My passenger seat has the fold forward option but the driver does not. When I built the seat adapters, I first discarded all of the fold-forward junk on the passenger side for simplicity's sake. To fold it forward, I just have to squeeze the two tabs together now. Not as easy but getting rid of all of that junk was nice. Plus, I don't have a back seat and never need to do anything but slide the seats forward. The seats are fixed (no recline) but are super, super comfortable. Everyone who has sat in them feels like they could drive across the country.

Take a look at PRP's Cordura material....waterproof, won't absorb sweat, very durable/resilent, and you won't be sliding all over. Mine are black Cordura on the front and vinyl on the back. Can't beat that combo IMO. I also requested double stitching for maximum durability. These seats are built like tanks, weigh less than 10 lb a piece and are very comfortable.

Hey Imped, do they sit about the same height as the stockers?

No, they sit about 1" taller. I had my stock seats raised 1" but now I've got the bases mounted directly to the floor and I'm at about the same height. That partly has to do with how you mount them to the bases. I kept them as low as I feasibly could.

I am running the Corbeau Baja RS reclining seats up front, and the matching rear Baja bench. All seats are mounted with TJ specific Corbeau brackets.

I love the seats. It was an immediate improvement over stock and has been worth the ridiculous amount of money spent on them
The PRP line of seats was the runner-up in my decision making.
Doing it again, I would not bother with the reclining feature. They work great, but I have never adjusted them since setting them the first time. Additionally, with a full cage w/ harness bar in the near future, the reclining function.....won't function anymore.

Those PRP DDs look really comfortable... So, those sit about 1" higher than a stock TJ seat?

Since you won't need reclining seats in the near future, you can always donate them to the Randeline LJ Modification Project. It's totally a legit charity geared toward supporting a lovely young couple's addiction to their LJ.
