They will fit, but you have to do a little trimming of the plastic box that extends in the back of the switch housing. It's really not a big deal, but it ruins the housing for if you ever want to put a factory switch in there. If it works better for you, they sell factory style switches on Ebay, I don't know much about them...have never used one.

I just ordered one of those because you sent it. PO put in an ugly green light switch that is loosely attached through maiming one of those blank rocker switches. Gonna replace it with.... buck buster! Bunny burner was a close second but the driving lights aren't that bright to scorch rabbits. Now I want accessories just to wire them.....

After I filled the factory three, I bought Daystar A/C vents that have places for two more switches in each center vent for a total of four more. I ordered the A/C vents off Quadratech. Of the seven Daystar after market switches, two were defective. I replaced them and all is well now.

Water Dog, you are the man! I really like the idea. I went with sPOD, but this fascia idea gives me inspiration on how to remount my CB which is currently buried under the center console and can't be tuned (my dad did it).

Working with aluminum is a breeze, I build amps for my other hobby and usually work with aluminum. Another way to cut out the pieces is with a dremel for those looking for how-to. I'd use a cutoff wheel, turn the dremel sideways, mark your lines to cut and go slow.

P.S. use self-etching primer on aluminum first so that the paint won't scratch off. Dupli-color makes some. Aluminum instantaneously oxidizes which means the paint never gets a good bond with the metal. Self-etching primer eats through the oxidation layer making a bond with the raw aluminum.

Mine are not all the same as far as the lighting goes..I kind of mismatched them. That is the one problem with doing them in a flat panel that's angled in at the bottom; as viewed from the drivers position, you really can't read the labels or see the lights that well. I personally wasn't worried about that, and knew what they went to without reading them.

This is where I'm thinking of putting a panel. I would like to keep the ash tray, not since I smoke but for trash, and have to keep the factory panel for my hardtop. I would mount this to the dash bezel, like the pics show, but I'm not sure how to attach it. For now it's made of cardboard and taped there but the final product would be made of metal or plastic, it depends in how I attach it. Any ideas would be great.

Hey guys, I want to thank Water Dog for starting this post. I was having a hard time deciding on a clean install solution for my new switches. I used Water Dog's panel and modded it's design so the switches instead of installed flat and the switches pointing downwards I'm gonna pull the bottom of the panel outwards so the switches are more vertical. Its a little more work but I'm lucky because I have access to a CNC machine so once the panel is designed in mastercam its easy to cut or modify in the future. I'll post pics when the panel is finished being fabricated.

Here is a few pictures, its gonna be a few weeks before I completely finish it as I am not finding anyone who has a VRD1G DPDT switches in stock to replace my OEM rear wiper switch. The bezel is quite labor intensive. Cutting it with the CNC is the easy part. It took me at least one hour to tack weld the parts and fit it to the center console. Then after that body fill, sanding and finally I spray it with bed liner paint. The first row is 6 switches and the second is 4 switches. In the free space beside the 4 switches I plan on installing a 2 port USB charging port. I opted for putting the switches in a switch housing rather than putting the switches directly into the bezel.
