air tank and compressor

I have a 2006 unlimited - want to put a 2 1/2 gal tank and viair 450 compressor - does anyone have any imput on where to put the tank - it looks like I have room on pass side between crossmember and fuel tank - next to the driveline - but I don't know if I would have problems with rocks - I dont think I have room on drivers side on tray for air compressor - I had a sun quick air II that fit - but viair looks about 2 " longer -
thanks for the imput

Should be some space like nic said on the driver side.
