Alignment after control arm replacement?

Hi folks. Have a new to me 1997 TJ. The steering is all over the place and it appears the previous owner neglected the front end. It was a daily driver with what appears to me a 1.5" puck in the rear and 2' in the front. Otherwise all stock, with 31's.

I replaced the trac bar with an OEM, and the steering damper. Alignment was off before, now its waaaaay off.

My question is, I want to relpace the shocks(current ones are stock) and the upper and lower contol arm bushings next week. Should I wait to have it aligned after or can I do it now?

Do the alignment yourself. If you must pay to do it then yes wait.
